IEEE Women in Engineering Malaysia also take part to co-organize the School Lab Outreach Program with a series of workshop held on August & September 2022, where the main organizer is IEEE Education Society (EduSoc) Malaysia. 8 schools in Perak Tengah participated in the program which includes physical workshops, video tutorials and building prototype. It was followed by a STEM competition. Three best project was selected as winner in the final prototype competition in October 2022 and WIE sponsored a female student under the WIE category. It is not only successful in promoting STEM to the high school student but also provided them the valuable knowledge and experience.
