Scratch Programming for Kids – organized by PETRONITA Perak and IEEE-WIE Malaysia

Petronita Education Bureau & IEEE Malaysia Women in Engineering (WIE) will organize a one-day program called ‘Scratch Programming for Kids’ on Saturday, 6th May 2017.

Scratch is interactive and easy – making it suitable for kids to be introduced to and learn basic programming. Details of the event are as follows:

  • Date: SATURDAY, 6 May 2017
  • Time: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm
  • Venue: Block 01, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Bandar Seri Iskandar, Perak.
  • Open to kids aged from 9 years old to 12 years old
  • Fee – RM 25 (Petronita or WIE members) and RM 35 (non-members) – inclusive of lunch and two tea-breaks
  • Registration deadline: 25th April 2017 (Payment should be made by 28th April 2017)

There are a few prizes up for grabs. There is also one special award/prize to be given out by IEEE-WIE Malaysia.
